Basic aggregate statistics

Our server counts page loads to understand which pages are useful and improve this website. It immediately adds counts to daily totals by page, broad traffic channel (such as Google or LinkedIn), non-personal campaign code, device category and country where available. This does not use a visitor ID, analytics cookie or browser fingerprint. We do not retain individual browsing records, IP addresses, full referrer URLs, arbitrary URL query strings, visitor names or email addresses in this analytics database.

We rely on our legitimate interest in improving our website for any incidental personal-data processing needed to produce these aggregate counts. You can object free of charge using Privacy choices and selecting “Turn off statistics”. We also respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Known bots and prefetch requests are filtered, but counts are approximate.

Optional interaction statistics

Only after you choose “Allow interaction statistics” do we measure clicks on contact links, project links, gallery controls, file downloads and external links, scroll depth and active time on a page. These are added directly to aggregate totals; no individual event history or cross-site profile is stored. Temporary browser-tab storage estimates sessions using a 30-minute inactivity window, without a unique identifier. We do not record form contents, keystrokes, screen recordings or precise location. Your consent is the basis for optional browser measurement; you can withdraw it at any time through Privacy choices.

Preferences and retention

When you choose an option, the io_stats preference cookie remembers that choice for six months. This preference is necessary to respect your requested privacy setting. If you turn statistics off, all subsequent optional measurement and server counts for that browser stop; temporary analytics tab storage is removed. Existing anonymous aggregate totals cannot be linked to you or removed individually. Aggregate rows older than 13 months are deleted when statistics are next updated.

Who can see the statistics?

The website owner's statistics dashboard requires authenticated owner access, checked on the server. Visitors cannot access it. Analytics are hosted with the website infrastructure provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. We do not send these analytics to advertising networks or sell them. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information for delivery, security and operations under their own service arrangements; this notice describes our website analytics, not all infrastructure logs.

Enquiries and external services

Contacting us by email or phone shares the information you choose to provide so we can respond and discuss your project. We use it for that enquiry and, where applicable, to take steps before entering a contract. Contact details are handled separately from anonymous website statistics. Keep project correspondence relevant and avoid unnecessary sensitive information. External social-media links and font services have their own privacy terms. Signing in to the owner dashboard uses ChatGPT authentication and its necessary authentication cookies.

Google reviews

Google profile and review links open Google Maps, where Google handles sign-in, review submission and other activity under its own terms. Reviews are submitted directly to Google. If Google reviews are displayed on this website, they are supplied by the Google Places service with the reviewer attribution and a link to the source review. We do not store copies of that feed. Google-hosted reviewer images may be loaded when reviews are shown. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Maps terms.

Your rights and contact

Where we process your personal information, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, depending on the processing and applicable law.
